I'm a Creative Director, Designer, Father, Husband and Jealous Lover located in London, England.

Everything I love is either related to my family, advertising, digital-stuff, sunny days, technology, design, OCD, cats and being bad in bed.

I'm a Creative Director at CHI&Partners in London focusing on bringing Digital love to everything we can. It's the perfect London agency – Independent enough, Creative as shit and Smart as fuck.

This blog is for me to catalog things I like as I will totally forget it an hour later. It's not meant to be one of those sites where people post cool work that they didn't do to seem like they're talented. It's just for me to celebrate work that inspires me to do better, more innovative thinking.

You can follow my ass on Twitter if ya want so you know when I post or Pinterest if your interested.

I'm always up for meeting new folk over a pint or coffee, so connect with me if ya wanna do some talkin.

HTML 5 & DJ'IN // Beatport launches new site

The folks @Beatport (including my bro @ClarkWarner) just flipped the switch on a stunning HTML 5 site / store. It's a great example of building with HTML 5 so that your platform can scale to many devices, unlike Flash.

The player functionality is quite nice and similar to iTunes functionality where you can listen to the track next to the track name. That said, if there is one flaw on this, iTunes allows you to click to Play but it also allows you to Pause too. Beatports approach is to have to move your mouse up to the top of the page where the player controls are. Sorry Matt & Co., it ain't working for me. But I'm not a DJ, so what the fuck do I know.

Regardless of that one minor point, this is a shining example of a great build and design. Beatports always been an innovator and invested in by some very innovative artists, such as Richie Hawtin (Plastikman), so it's no surprise that they've push for forward-thinking technology.

Well done guys!

So get up on it!

HTML 5 // Subways and Sounds

Created by @alexanderchen and posted on @ChromeExp this experiment is based on the intersections of all the subway lines on the MTA. Very Cool.

At www.mta.me, Conductor turns the New York subway system into an interactive string instrument. Using the MTA’s actual subway schedule, the piece begins in realtime by spawning trains which departed in the last minute, then continues accelerating through a 24 hour loop. The visuals are based on Massimo Vignelli’s 1972 diagram.

HTML 5 & FLASH // Exporting to HTML 5

Adobe has given a sneak peak to some new software that will convert your FLA to HTML 5. When are they going to create a HTML 5 APP (like) flash so designers can continue developing cool stuff like Flash without using apps like Dreamweaver?
